Top Marks for Tech-Res Compliance, again

Every 2 years,  Corporate Members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation have to pass a timed, online Compliance Test, assessing their knowledge of recruitment legislation, operations and the REC’s Code of Professional Practice, which goes beyond statutory legal requirements. I’m delighted to report that we have again scored 100%, resulting in a personal message of congratulations from  Angie Nicholls, the REC’s Head of Compliance.

Keeping abreast of the latest legislation and best recruitment practice is extremely important for our business, not just to remain compliant, but to demonstrate our knowledge and professionalism to our clients, differentiating us from many other recruiters”.

 

Compliance testing is core to the REC’s strategy to raise standards within the industry, covering topics such as the Agency Worker Regulations, Contracts, Advertising, Limited Company Contractors, Data Protection, H&S, Key Policies/Procedures, Asylum & Immigration and Equal Opportunities. The pass rate was increased this year from 75-80%.
