Technology Resourcing passes REC inspection
We’re delighted to announce that Technology Resourcing have recently passed an inspection by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation.
Each month the REC conducts random spot-check inspections in order to ensure their members are working to the high standards demanded from their Code of Professional Conduct and to current legislation, in order to raise standards within the recruitment industry.
Recruitment companies are randomly visited by one of the REC’s Assessment Officers to scrutinise working practices and legal knowledge / compliance across a range of areas including Terms of Business, recruitment legislation, contractor documentation, advertising, health & safety, data protection and confidentiality and the professional development of internal staff.
On receiving our award letter Derek Brown, our MD, commented: “We are delighted to receive external recognition for the high standard of our recruitment processes, which we work so hard on, and to receive validation that we remain fully compliant with the ever-changing legal regulations. It is reassuring that the REC considers we are not only working ethically, but that we also operate to best practice standards. This is critical as we strive to grow the business whilst continuing our mission to restore the public’s faith in professional recruitment”.
Tech-Res have been proud and active members of the REC since 1995. Just last week we tested a beta version of their proposed online compliance tool, to enable them to assess more of their members, more frequently, raising standards even further. I’m pleased to say we passed this one also!
