Strategic Programme Planning Consultant (MS Project) – 6 month contract, central London

We have a new 6-month contract assignment available for a Senior Project Planning / Scheduling expert who is proficient on MSP with at least 10 yrs experience, which must have included providing consultancy and advisory services to the end client.

This is not your average construction/infrastructure/utility project, but is a very high profile, accelerated programme, utilising several new (geographically dispersed) PMO’s. Working alongside the Head of PMO you will be responsible for formulating the strategic plan and then managing the resulting schedule, along with all associated reporting.

This appointment requires an individual with a truly consultative manner – exceptional communications, influencing and presentation skills, along with expert stakeholder management, so you can engage credibly and effectively with senior leaders and execs within the end client and their management consultant partners.

The programme is at an early stage but is progressing at pace, with frequent changes and variations, so you’ll need to be comfortable in a dynamic and extremely agile environment.

This assignment is based in central London and you will need to be in the office full-time, Mon-Fri.

Pay Rate: Up to £425/day, outside IR35.
