Senior Developer

Our client, a multi-national software development company, who provide bespoke solutions to over 500 organisations worldwide are looking for a forward thinking and driven Senior Developer to join their well – led and ambitious team. As a company this organisation aims to be one of the UK’s leading software development companies, forging deep and rewarding partnerships with both their clients and staff.

This is a new hire, expanding the development team which is working for a large, instantly recognisable client who operate across the UK. This role will become a right hand individual to the team architect, and mentor the more junior members of the team. The success of the solution has led to multiple additional resources being required. The senior nature of the position requires an individual who is capable of managing their own workload as well helping to steer a team, along with the other personal qualities that would be expected of a strong and professional developer in a software environment.

In terms of tech skills, successful candidates will need the following:

VB.NET

ASP.NET

WCF/Web Services

HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Jquery

SQL Server 2008 DB Development (performance tuning would be a huge plus)
