Our client
Due to continued growth and expansion, our client, a leading global consultancy, are now looking for Postgraduate level, Senior Consultants to work on Complex change programmes, large-scale investments, major infrastructure programmes in the UK.

The role
This is an outstanding opportunity for ambitious Project and Programme Management specialists: a high profile role where you will be given the opportunity to work with key players in the sector. We are looking for individuals who have a blend of experience across advisory, design, assurance, project management and technology implementation.

As a Senior Consultant, you will have responsibility for:

• The design and development of large scale capital programme management initiatives
• Business case definition
• Bid preparation
• Prestigious clients base in capital intensive industries
• Help to define and support business transformations on large-scale capital programmes
• Design and implementation delivery and governance mechanisms
• Mentoring and management of junior members of the team
• Development of markets, offerings, propositions and pioneering thought leadership focused on capital programmes

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working with clients across a range of sectors: O&G, rail, transport, energy, mining, utilities
• Knowledge and understanding of the full capital projects life-cycle
• Previous experience of managing and delivering projects, either working for an institution in one of the above sectors, or for a consulting firm
• Experience of assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative
• Previous development and deployment of project control mechanisms including progress reporting and key control themes such as schedule, cost and risk
• Postgraduate degree
