Project Manager

Location:  Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)
Salary:       £55,000–£65,000 + excellent benefits

Our client already has an outstanding reputation across London and the Home Counties and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth, projecting to double their size in the next 18 months. They’ve recently developed an entirely new software platform that’s already proving its value with pilot customers (B2B & B2C) trialing their MVP, with a wider rollout about to begin, to both existing and new customers. This is why they’re now hiring an experienced Project Manager who enjoys making things happen, variety, true ownership, and seeing the direct impact of their work across a diverse portfolio of strategic projects.

The Opportunity

As the organisation’s sole dedicated Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful delivery, working closely with senior leadership to make sure their initiatives deliver real business value.

Your portfolio will include customer implementations, data migrations and platform upgrades, alongside internal transformation projects such as CRM and HR system deployments, connectivity improvements, customer support transformation and wider business change initiatives. 70% of projects are tech; 30% other. You’ll coordinate internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders, manage budgets, risks and timelines and help establish best PM practices and processes as the company continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven experience delivering complex IT, digital or business transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness with a business-focused mindset.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to drive projects through to successful delivery.
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience, with preference for those with PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum or similar project management certification.

• £55,000–£65,000 salary
