Project Management Trainer

If you’ve been at the sharp end of delivering projects, you’ll understand what it takes to deliver projects successfully, as well as the pitfalls and challenges you’ll encounter along the way. If you’re able to take this experience and pass it on to Degree level Project Management apprentices in an engaging, inspiring and passionate way, we’d love to have a conversation with you.

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company delivering the 2-year Level 6 Apprenticeship Project Manager degree. You will be delivering training at the employers’ sites, across London and the South East of England, drawing on your own experiences to bring project management learning to life and ensuring the knowledge imparted sticks. You will be delivering classroom sessions to 4-10 students at a time, conducting an average of 14 training days per month, with the remainder being spent on support and admin – preparing case studies, liaising and answering queries from students and employers, meeting with line managers etc.

ABOUT YOU:

  • It’s important that you have substantial industry experience in a project management function, ideally as a Trainer / University Lecturer
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Key to success will be your ability to build effective relationships with each of the apprentices over an extended period and deliver the training drawing on your own experiences, citing real-life scenario’s that give meaning and perspective to the students.
  • You’ll certainly be using a variety of presentation and training methods that are engaging, inspiring and at times, maybe humorous, to ensure the students retain the information needed to successfully pass their degrees.
  • Candidates will ideally have some knowledge / understanding of the Project Controls functions as well.
  • It’s important that you are either APM / PMI accredited
  • Since the level of training being given is degree level, candidates MUST have a degree themselves, or equivalent.

This really is a tremendous opportunity to join an expanding consultancy, sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of Project Managers, who are working across a diverse range of industries.

Technology Resourcing is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
