Project Controls Trainer (part-time)
Role: Project Controls Trainer (part-time)
Location: London and home-based
Rate: £350/day
We’re looking for an experienced Trainer / Teacher / Lecturer with a thorough knowledge and experience of project controls (either as a practitioner or as a Trainer), to work 3-4 days/month, delivering training, marking assessments and providing feedback to NVQ L3 apprentices.
Our client is agnostic of which industries you’ve gained your experience in, or what tools you’ve used (MS Project, Primavera P6, Asta PowerProject etc), as long as you can deliver their training material effectively, conveying the principles of planning and project controls in an engaging, inspiring and passionate way, that sticks.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- An experienced Trainer / Lecturer, with at least an NVQ L3 Trainer or L3 Assessor certification
- Project Controls experience, either as a Trainer or as a Project Controls Engineer / Project Controls Manager
- Hold an engineering or related NVQ L5 or above qualification ie an HND or degree
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, comfortable and confident presenting to an audience and able to build effective, enduring relationships with each of the students, ideally drawing on your own experiences, citing real-life scenarios that give meaning and perspective to the students.
You will be delivering training at the employers’ London offices, and at our client’s college, to groups of 15-20 learners, so our client is only considering individuals who live in London or the Home Counties.
This really is a tremendous opportunity to join a successful college delivering 3-year Level 3 Project Controls courses to apprentices employed by a major engineering company in London, sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of Project Controls professionals.
