This highly regarded project advisory and delivery consultancy provide independent Project, Programme and Portfolio Management and associated services to a diverse range of clients and industry sectors including commercial, residential, academic, sports and medical.

They are now looking for a Lead Project Controls expert to join their impressive team working with Architects, Developers, Contractors and end-Clients on multiple concurrent projects. You will deliver high quality concept programmes and all associated programme development, monitoring and control for projects during pre-construction or construction stages.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and enhance project controls excellence across the organisation
• Applying advanced Project Controls techniques including QSRA and EVA.
• Produce project and planning commentaries and method statements
• Manage time-related activities register to ensure accurate and realistic schedules
• Site visits, programme monitoring and assessment reports.
• Input to, and presentation of, tenders, project reports & construction plans.
• BIM programme integration, to enable BIM Level 3 and 4D output.
• Advising on project controls trends and innovations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• An expert in planning, project controls, sequencing skills and outputs
• Sound knowledge of construction methods and technology. Able to interpret drawings, spec’s and other construction info and understand site requirements (setting up, preliminaries, temporary works etc).
• Experienced in Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis and Earned Value Analysis / Management
• Proficient user of Asta Powerproject and MS Office
• Commercially aware
• Understanding of BIM Level 3 – practical implementation as well as the theory
• Degree qualified or relevant professional qualification / experience
