Our client is a multi-$bn e‑commerce company with more than a thousand staff across Europe. They are now hiring another Workday HR System Specialist for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, to help support and enhance their existing Workday ecosystem. It’s a hands‑on role where you will configure processes, optimise systems and improve reporting. What you will do:

  • Design, configure, test and deploy changes across all their Workday modules (HCM, Talent Optimisation, Absences, Advanced Comp, Expenses, Time Tracking, Learning and Journeys)
  • Build and improve custom reports.
  • Support improvement projects covering data quality, process optimisation and new implementations.
  • Estimate and prioritise configuration work.
  • Act as the first contact for system queries.
  • Support integrations with other systems.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and recommend relevant new features.

What’s needed:

  • A passion for people systems with at least one year hands‑on Workday experience.
  • Able to translate functional requirements into practical system configurations.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills
  • Attention to detail and quality across configurations, data and process changes.
  • Confident working independently in an agile, cross‑functional setup, balancing support and project work (50%/50%)
  • Clear English communication skills.
  • Other HRIS software experience is a bonus.
