ROLE: Software Developer (Python)

LOCATION: Guildford

SALARY: £25k – £40K

Our client is a small but expanding web analytics, reporting and digital strategy company that specialises in online architecture, governance, SEO and delivers advanced digital marketing tools and solutions. Continued success means that they’re now recruiting an additional Python Developer to work on their innovative, industry-disrupting applications, which are used by large, global FTSE 100 enterprises.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, agile and high energy environment but will also be comfortable working with global, household name clients. You will be a natural problem solver, enjoy wrestling with the internet (scraping, crawling, domains, proxies, SEO etc), know your way around all sorts of websites, be competent on HTML, XML, CSS, JS, with a good understanding of SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics/Webmaster tools, Moz, ScreamingFrog etc)

You will be working alongside another experienced Developer, picking the internet apart and designing, developing, building, testing and rapidly deploying innovative new web based applications. Along with strong Python skills, you should also be comfortable working with databases, assisting on the front-end and working with client facing Consultants and digital marketeers, to capture and interpret their client’s requirements.
