Due to continued growth and expansion, our client, a highly regarded management consultancy, are now looking for postgrad. Project Controls Consultants to work on complex transformation programmes within major capital infrastructure programmes across the UK.

The role:

This is an outstanding opportunity for ambitious Project Controls and Programme Management specialists: a high profile role where you will have the opportunity to work with the very best in the industry. We’re looking for individuals with a blend of experience across advisory, design, assurance, project management and technology implementation.

In this role you will be working with prestigious clients, on capital-intensive programmes, with responsibility for:

• The design and development of large scale capital programme management initiatives
• Business case definition
• Bid preparation
• Helping to define and support business transformations on large-scale capital programmes
• Design and implementation of delivery and governance mechanisms
• Mentoring and management of less experienced members of the team
• Development of markets, offerings, propositions and pioneering thought leadership focused on capital programmes

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working with clients across a range of utility and infrastructure sectors such as Oil & Gas, Rail, Energy, Power, Telecoms, Mining etc
• Knowledge and understanding of the full capital projects life-cycle
• Previous experience of managing and delivering projects, either working for an organisation in one of the above sectors or for a consulting firm
• Experience of assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative
• Previous development and deployment of project controls mechanisms including progress reporting and key control themes such as schedule, cost and risk
• Postgraduate degree
