Senior Developer – Python + Django

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, early stage software company who are revolutionising the way insurance companies around the globe are engaging digitally with their customers. They already have an impressive portfolio of clients in the UK, US and Asia and are about to finalise additional funding for their next stage of growth.

This role will report directly to the CTO, a highly regarded software veteran (who still codes!), with the potential to grow into a Head of Software Engineering role as they continue to build out their in-house expertise to cope with increasing demand from clients.

To be considered for this career-defining opportunity you need strong Python and Django skills along with an inherent appreciation of the overall cloud and systems architecture and an understanding of iOS and Android app development (although this work is outsourced). Other technologies being used (although not mandatory for this application) include: Rest, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Celery, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, Linux, HTTP verbs and transactions, NGINX, uWSGI, Gunicorn and GIT. As you would expect from an accelerating software company, Agile Scrum experience would also be useful as would experience of CI and CD methodologies (using tools such as Jenkins).
