Technical Integrations Manager (PowerShell)

Overview:

We’re looking for someone to develop PowerShell solutions that integrate seamlessly into our client’s platform, along with delivering tailored customizations for their customers, both presales and post-sales.

Their platform monitors, analyses and optimises virtual desktops, applications and other physical endpoints, in real-time. PowerShell script-based solutions are therefore integral to them rapidly innovating and delivering new functionalities.

We’re looking for an integrations specialist with 5+ yrs of deep PowerShell experience, including Azure API integration knowledge. You should be customer-focused, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and have a creative approach to problem-solving, often solving their client’s real-world technical challenges. You will be working entirely remotely, leading a small team of scripting experts, maintaining high standards for script quality.

You will be managing backlogs, troubleshooting live with customers, ensuring the quality of scripts, continuously increasing the value of their script library and you will introduce improvements that their client’s will love and will use it for more and more use cases.

Experience in client- facing roles is preferred (support, presales, PS etc) as is familiarity with Citrix and Horizon API integrations. You will be managing existing script repositories and reverse-engineering scripts.

Responsibilities:

• Authoring, code reviewing, and debugging PowerShell scripts to address real-world problems, mostly for end-user computing and Windows system management.
• Managing a small team of scripting experts, providing technical guidance and managing all stages of solution development, from ideation to implementation, delivery and subsequent improvements
• Working cross-functionally to support product enhancement releases by communicating detailed product requirements and specifications to Product Management
• Gathering market, field and customer feedback, and translating it to optimal product solutions
• Supporting features life-cycle from idea to successful execution and launch by contributing scripts / modules along with any related collateral such as documentation and training
• Support and consult with their customers
• Internally support new product features, benchmarking, troubleshooting, best practices etc

Requirements:

• At least 5yrs hands-on PowerShell scripting
• IT knowledge and background, especially with all aspects of EUC including virtualization technologies, networking and desktop administration
• Understanding of cloud / hybrid cloud technologies
• An appreciation of product design and users experience (UX/UI)
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Happy working with teams across time zones
• Preferred experience, although not mandatory:
• Endpoint management or VDI solutions
• Virtualization product knowledge.
• Technical knowledge / experience in IT infrastructure.
• SaaS company experience

Technologies:

• PowerShell 5.1, 7
• Day 1 Basic familiarity with: C#; REST APIs (especially Azure), Postman; Git; T-SQL; TCP/IP, UDP.
• Have or acquire familiarity with: Linux: bash; MacOS: zsh; cmd/bat
