ROLE: Project Controls Engineer / Consultant
LOCATION: Reading or Surrey
DURATION: 12 months’ – with possible extension
RATE: £375 – £450 per day

This client are a world-class engineering consultancy group with a reputation for delivery and excellence across the globe. Operating in conjunction with one of their partners, they are looking for a Project Controls Engineer / Consultant to join their team, based from either the Reading or Surrey office.

You’ll be working with the engineering teams and responsible for setting up the programme and therefore, you must have excellent knowledge of P6. Thereafter, you will own, maintain and drive the programme.
The key outputs will include a WBS and scope, schedule and costs tracked and measured in line with planning and control principles and you should be comfortable and familiar with compliance requirements.
This role will suit a robust character and who is able able to work effectively with the design teams, ensuring they are engaged and accountable for their activities against the programme.

Multi-sector experience is preferred and ideally, should include experience gained from within the water industry. It may be beneficial if you have previously worked in a consultancy environment.
The programme of work will include major capital investment and maintenance programmes over the next 5 years and has a ‘Go live’ date of 1st April.
