We’re looking for a Principal / Lead / Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development and scaling of their core platform. This is a high-impact, senior role, ideal for a hands-on Developer, with business acumen, who enjoys working in a smaller team, wearing multiple hats across architecture, DevOps and product innovation.

🔧 Your Role

  • Lead the end-to-end development of robust B2B and B2C applications.
  • Own architecture and DevOps, ensuring scalability, security and performance.
  • Work with customers, partners and the business to translate their needs into smart technical solutions.
  • Shape the technical roadmap and define best practices, as you may well be asked to hire and lead additional Devs.

Tech stack: Python, Django, HTML/CSS/JS, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), ORMs, RESTful APIs, AWS, Docker, Git and various third-party integrations (web and mobile).

✅ What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years hands-on Python development using Django
  • Web tech skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ideally also Vue.js)
  • Proficient in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Good understanding of agile and using Git for version control
  • Solid DevOps skills – CI/CD, Docker, deployment automation
  • Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
  • Strong business analysis and design skills
  • Clear and effective communicator, translating tech to non-tech and vice versa
  • Experienced leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, inc. setting priorities, estimating work, progress reports etc.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership
